Overcoming Touch Deprivation

I was born 2 months early in Trinidad in 1965. I was only four pounds and needed to be in an incubator for my first few weeks of life. My mother failed to believe them.
And live I did. I grew into being a 6′3, 2 hundred pound man in nearly perfect health. Such is the power of love, such is the power of touch. We get touched less as we are getting older, though our primal need for touch never lessens. Touch deprivation is a big sort of sensory deprivation. Our world is becoming too formal, too stiff, too emotionally cold. In the interests of your physical, emotionally, psychological and religious health, give your self more authorization to touch and be touched. You cannot overdose on loving touch.
Shut your eyes occasionally and experience your world thru touch. Your skin is your largest organ- use it. Everybody can heal and be healed through touch.
